Mirador del Mal Pas is a spectacular viewing point and number one in must to see in Mallorca list. Mirador de Mal Pas has the best views on the entire island, you’ll need nerves of steel and a head for heights. The Mirador del Mal Pas is perched over 300 metres above sea level on precipitous cliffs in the Sierra Tramuntana mountain range near Puerto Pollensa. It has views to die for. Last year it was given a complete makeover with restored walls, new safety barriers so the whole area more friendly and secure.
Mirador del Mal Pas has views of the bay of Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa, and the wide open Mediterranean towards neighbouring Menorca.
For many years it was only accessible by sea, or a long winding donkey track, which can still be seen alongside the new Ma-2210 road built by the Italian engineer Antonio Parietti. If you go up to the Mirador del Mal Pas, you’ll see a large rock by the roadside which is a monument to Parietti, and if you’re driving you’ll appreciate just why it’s there! There are a lot of parking places by the Mirador. All you need is to enjoy the fresh clean mountain air and views while you’re up there.
