Cities/Villages in Mallorca

Mallorca a huge piece of land, with lot of interesting places to visit. Hire a car or motorcycle, go on bike or foot, or finally take a ride with a public transport to explore some of the beautiful towns and villages in Mallorca. The bigest city is Palma of course. The interesting thing is, that the city of Palma is a capital not only of Mallorca, but also of the Balearic islands. City of Palma can offer anything you will be needed, from history, culture, historic Old Town to gastronomy, shopping and a night life of course.

There plenty of museums, shops, bars and restaurants, from streets tapas bars till two stars michelin restaurants. As a spanishs love fiesta, you will never get bored here. The second bigest city is Manacor. Manacor is a good place for those who love nature and sports. The only ‘Via Verde’ in the Balearic islands is in Manacor. This 29km eco-path begins in Manacor and offers changing scenery along the way. For those who love playing tennis, Manacor is a very important city for this sport. Rafael Nadal was born in Manacor and has opened „The Rafael Nadal International Tennis Centre“ and museum in his hometown. Majorica‘s factory shop – island’s famous artificial pearl industry is located in Manacor as well. Third bigest city is Inca. It is commercial town in the center of the island. Inca is called „city of leather“ of its history of leather making that continues nowadays.
