CCA Andratx is the largest and one of the best contemporary art gallerys on Mallorca. The Centre is located in a beautiful natural surrounding in the town of Sa Coma, near Andtratx. The CCA Andratx offers a unique cultural experience, and the Studio Program is open to national and international artists. The CCA Andratx was founded in 2001 by Jacob and Patricia Asbaek. The building is about 4.000 m2 and has a minimal, traditional style that is perfectly integrated in the breathtaking natural scenery of its surroundings. CCA Andratx is one of the largest centres of Contemporary Art in the Balearic Islands as well as in the rest of Europe. In the surroundings you can walk for hours with breathtaking beautiful scenery. In the Centre you will find a lovely garden with the trees of oranges, lemons, almonds, figs and olives. The exhibition spaces are very large, there are no windows to the surrounding landscape. Outside there are a gift shop and the restaurant.
In the CCA Andratx gallery you will find paintings, sculptures, installations, graphics and photographs from international and local artists. Some of them are for a sale. CCA ESPAI is a space for the artists residing in the Balearic Islands. CCA Andratx offer a production place and a platform for artists. More than 500 artists from 20 different countries have already benefited from this program. CCA Andratx assigns to artists 4 studios free of charge for a period of 4 weeks.
