Porto Des Canonge is situated on the North West coast of Mallorca. The beach is 70 m long and 20 m wide. This small, charming stone beach, it is set against a backdrop of escars -old stone huts the local people used to use to store their boats in. Now it is protected- and characteristic fishing boats. The small fishing boats occupy the rear of this narrow beach of Port des Canonge, so that there is not much place for sunbathing, but is just perfect for a refreshing dip in the sea. Port des Canonge is still unspoilt, although near by a village has been built.
The strong winds blowing from the northwest and east is a reason why the marine and underwater conditions are not safe for anchoring boats. This is why the small boats are well tied or on the escars (dry docks which are typical for the Balearic Islands).
In Port des Cononge you will easily find a place to park your car. You can also reach Port des Canonge by foot, following the sighs all the the time down the hill. In the surroundings you will find a beach, where you can take a swim and in a village you will find a few fish restaurants.
