The church of Sant Miguel is located in the rural town of Felanitx, in the east part of
Mallorca. It is a parish church, dedicated to Saint Miguel. The church of Sant Miguel
was built between the 16th and 17th century, in various architectural styles which
makes it very unique. It is built in Neo-Gothic style, but has details of the Spanish
Churrigueresque architecture, which origins from the late Baroque. The church of
Sant Miguel is 44 metres long, 13 metres width and 17 metres hight.
Inside the church, you will find a beautiful Gothic altarpiece, with the image of
Virgin Mary. The church has a massive window, displays scenes from the four
gospels. On the exterior wall of the church, you can see a memorial plate in memory
of 416 people who died here Easter Sunday 1844, when the wall collapsed and buried
them under the bricks. The church of Sant Miguel has a stone stairs that leads up to
the main entrance, it is considered as a monument here in the town.The church of
