Cap Blanc Light Tower

Cap Blanc Light Tower (Cabo Blanco)

The Far of Cap Blanc (Cabo Blanco) is a lighthouse at the southeastern point of the Badia de Palma (Bay of Palma) on the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca. It was built in 1863 at Cap Blanc and is still in operation today. The lighthouse is located in the municipality of Llucmajor.

The Far of Cap Blanc was designed by Emili Pou and put into operation on August 31, 1863. The U-shaped building has a white-painted cylindrical tower with a lantern and a gallery. 1970 lighthouse was converted from acetylene to an electrical system and installed a mirror lens IV.

The main gift that can offer Cap Blanc light tower is to enjoy a sunset from almost 100 meters of height. Sitting there to watch the sunset is one of the most relaxing activities you can do in Mallorca. A blanket to sit, something to nibble, something to drink and let yourself go without looking at the clock. Have a magical night!
