Playa de Canyamel is situated on the northeastern coast of Mallorca, about 10 km from the villages of Artá and Capdepera. The beach of Canyamel is located in the small holiday resort of the same name. Playa de Canyamel is surrounded on one side by a nature reserve, it is perfect for walking and bird watching. Playa de Canyamel can get crowded in the peak summer months, but because of its size and relative isolation, it generally stays relaxed.
Playa de Canyamel is easily accessible by car. You can leave yourcar at free public parking. It is possible to come by public bus from the town of Artá.
