Cala Moreia

Cala Moreia

Cala Moreia, also known as Playa S’Illot (name of a small island, which lies off the coast here) is situated in the east of Mallorca. The neighbouring resort is also called S’Illot. Cala Moreia is about 350 metres long and 50 metres width. The beach has golden, fine-grained sand and blue waters.

The bathing conditions are good and the beach is cleaned daily. There are facilities such as sun lounges, showers and lifeguard on duty. In peak season you should arrive early because the spots for lounging on the beach of Cala Moreia are limited. There are selection of water sports activities, it is possible to rent water bikes. Along the seafront there are many restaurants and cafés. The beach is child-friendly, plenty of place to play in the sand. Cala Moreia is also wheelchair accessible. It’s a good spot for diving and snorkeling. Unfortunately, surfing is permitted from October to April only. If the wind blows from the east, there may be relatively big waves.
