Cala Figuera

Cala Figuera Formentor (be carefull there is one more beach called cala Figuera near Santanyi) is located in a stunning cove on the Cap de Formentor, in northeast Mallorca. This spectacular u-shaped beach is hidden between cliffs – on the right side are steep, stony and very high, and on the left side are sandstone. Its location and turquoise waters make it one of the best-kept secrets on the island of Mallorca.
Cala Figuera beach is around 45 metres long and 40 metres wide. The water here is crystal clear, so its perfect for snorkelling thanks to its rocky bottom. It is also a popular spot for dropping anchor, but conditions can be dangerous when north or northweast winds are blowing. In Cala Figuera there are no lifeguards on duty.

Cala Figuera beach is located arround 14 kilometres from Port de Pollença. You can easily reach Cala Figuera by car if following the signs. The beach is next to the road from the breathtaking Cap de Formentor. From the car park to reach the beach, you will need to walk for around 15 to 20 minutes. As the path can be quite rough so take a good walking shoes and water. Cala Figuera is the perfect spot to escape the crowds in the summer.
