The Cala de Egos is located between holiday resorts of Cala D’or and Portopetro in the southeast of Majorca and is one of those small, narrow bays that allow a picturesque view of the sea. The rocky
shores are, however, built with large hotel buildings, so that guests could jump from the
garden almost into the water. The sandy beach is about 20 meters long and up to 30 meters
wide. The coast has fine white sand. There are showers, toilets and a beach bar. Beach
chairs and umbrellas for rent are limited. The water in the bay is calm. The protected location
allows only small waves.
Access by car is easy, the bay is located about two kilometers from Cala d’Or. Follow the
good signs to the small free parking. From there, steps lead down to the bay. It is popular
with locals and tourists.
