Cala Blava beach

Cala Blava beach

Playa Cala Blava is situated at five kilometres from s’Arenal and is also know as Cala Mosca and Cala Mosques. The adjacent village received the same name. The residential constructions in the surroundings don’t cast a shadow over the beauty of this landscape, apart from the tall hotel constructed nearby. Nevertheless, Cala Mosca is characterized by the profusion of construction due to its proximity to Palma.

This small sandy beach is surrounded by rocks of little height, although the cliffs nearby rise up to 25 meters, and provide an excellent panoramic view over the bay of Palma. The lower rocks in the surroundings are an excellent alternative along this long sandy area where we can also see a torrent and a lot of small beached boats.

If you follow the coast on foot from Cala Mosques going south you will reach other small coves with sandy ground, stones and pebbles. The coast of Cala Blava is most and massively frequented by the residents of the village. The accessibility by car is easy. There is no parking area next to the coast and no bus stop in the surroundings.
