Cala Anguila

Cala Anguila

Cala Anguila is a small, lovely cove beach situated on the eastern coast of Mallorca, near the holiday resort of Cala Romantica and 8 kilometers from Porto Cristo. Cala Anguila is about 50 metres long and 120 wide. It has light, white sand and crystal clear turquoise water. Cala Anguila has cliffs on both sides. In the surroundings you can see stone pines, palm trees and a few buildings.

There are sunbeds and parasols on the beach, showers and toilets as well. There is one, small restaurant here at the beach serving food and drinks to stay and to go. Cala Anguila is a family-friendly beach with calm waters. There are a lifeguard on duty in peak summer months. There are no water sports facilities at the beach, but the conditions are perfect for snorkeling, especially close to the cliffs. Conditions for anchoring boats are good and the nearest full-service port is in Porto Cristo.

Cala Anguila is easily reached by car following the signs off the main road. There is a small, free parking spot at the entrance. As well you can find a parking in the street and walk down to the beach. There is a small staircase leading to the beach what makes wheelchair accessibility difficult.
