An alternative to Es Trenc is the neighbouring beach at S’Arenal de sa Rapita in the south east of Majorca. It is much quieter than Es Trenc, and is popular with families, surfers and windsurfers. This pretty unspoilt beach is around one kilometre long and consists of fine white sand. The clear shallow water is a beautiful shade of turquoise. There are sun loungers and parasols for hire and lifeguards are on duty.
You will find the water here to be clear and shallow, perfect for younger children or those less adventurous swimmers. The beach is manned by lifeguards during the peak season and busy summer months.
Sa Rapita is situated 11 kilometres from Campos and there is a pay car park at the beach. You can approach from Ses Covettes to the east or the village of Sa Rapita on the west. The beach backs on to sand dunes and a pine forest, making it one of the more beautiful natural beaches on Mallorca.
