Begin this great day aboard a typical motor boat with a capacity for 80 passengers, lower and upper deck and bar service. During the 1-hour boat trip around the Palma bay you will enjoy panoramic views of the city and its most relevant landmarks such as the fortress of San Carlos Castle, the Bellver Castle, the Cathedral or the Almudaina Palace. You will admire a unique perspective of the port with the fisherman’s wharf, the yacht club and the promenade and a close up view of the luxury yachts, fishing boats, cruise ships and the naval base where the King of Spain has his own yacht. The boat trip departs every hour, between 11 am and 4 pm, so you can choose the schedule that best suits you.
At 6pm you must be at the Cooking School, located a few meters from the port, in the heart of all cultural and tourist attractions of the Palma city center.
At the Cooking School you’ll discover the secrets of Spanish traditional cuisine with a practical and hands on course. Let’s work in the modern fully equipped kitchen to prepare the great classics of Spanish gastronomy, also diving into the local culture. The menu consists of the traditional “gazpacho” (cold soup), Spanish omelette, authentic Mallorcan mixed paella with meat and seafood, and to finish a Catalan cream, typical dessert in this area. Don´t worry if you have no cooking experience, with the help and instructions of the expert chef you can make these dishes, so he adapts the classes to all levels.
When you finish cooking, we’ll enjoy your dishes all together in a beautiful dining room table, with the best atmosphere, good company and a glass of a great wine or beer. Of course, you’ll take home the recipes to continuing practicing and surprise your friends with your new skills.
A funny, didactic and tasty day in Palma de Mallorca, to enjoy this beautiful city in a different way.
